About Armenian Wine School

A center of excellence in wine education, based in Yerevan

Our Mission

At Armenian Wine School (AWS), our mission is to raise the standards of wine education in Armenia and the wider region.
We believe that true wine knowledge empowers professionals and enthusiasts alike, connecting our local traditions with global expertise.

As an Approved Programme Provider of WSET, AWS delivers internationally recognized qualifications with the same academic rigor and sensory focus found in leading wine schools worldwide.
Our goal is to make Armenia part of the global conversation in wine, cultivating a new generation of informed, confident wine communicators, sommeliers, and producers.

We are proud to be a WSET Approved Programme Provider and to work closely with strategic partners such as the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia, supporting Armenia’s wine future.

Meet the Educator

Arpine Manukyan, Founder and Lead Educator of AWS, is a certified WSET instructor and a Master of Wine Candidate.

With more than a decade of experience across winemaking, consultancy, and international judging, Arpine combines academic precision with real-world insight from the Armenian and global wine industries.
Her teaching philosophy is simple: clarity, curiosity, and confidence.
Every course is designed to make complex topics understandable, from vineyard to glass, while inspiring a lasting appreciation of wine culture.

Our Venue

All in-person AWS courses are held at the Red Bridge Conference Hall in Yerevan, a serene riverside location offering a focused and welcoming study environment.

The venue is fully equipped for professional wine courses and tastings, providing comfortable seating, optimal lighting, and proper glassware.
Its beautiful surroundings by the river create a relaxed atmosphere ideal for thoughtful learning and informal discussions during breaks or after class.
